Located on the first and fourth floors of the imposing Semaphore building on the square by the railway station, the Den Bosch Central Station centre enjoys a prominent position in one of the southern Netherlands' most important business districts. National and international banking, brewing and industrial engineering concerns have large facilities in Den Bosch. The city is home to HAS Den Bosch, a leading training institution specialising in agriculture, horticulture, food sciences, nature conservation and environmental protection, which has close links with similar training organisations in the UK and the US. Den Bosch also has a thriving tourism trade, with many European visitors attracted to its now protected medieval city centre and the large nature reserve to the south.
