ABOUT THE BUILDING:
On the site of Warmoesstraat 149 and 151, there were once two merchant houses. At the end of the 19th century, Messrs. Ellerman & Harms, owners of the eponymous printing house, had the buildings demolished to construct their imposing headquarters, in a style that was modern at the time. The entrance with its large wooden door, granito stairs and vaulted ceiling still reflect this today. The building has a basement and 3 floors. Number 149-151 is internally connected to Warmoesstraat 153.
